JOINT STATEMENT FROM ANN BUDGE AND BRIAN CORMACK

TO ALL HEARTS FANS – THANK YOU

On behalf of the Club and the Foundation of Hearts, we would like to say a huge thank you to all Hearts fans everywhere for their incredible support through the season.

To acknowledge this support, we have designated Sunday 15 May as our very own Thanking the Fans Day.

For the final time this season, the team will be wearing the now-famous tribute strip, Scott Wilson – everyone’s favourite match announcer – will broadcast a message of thanks before kick off, the club will be putting a message of thanks on the LED through the match, and the players will be demonstrating their appreciation by applauding you, the fans. This is a celebration of and for Hearts fans, and we are delighted to be paying this tribute to you all.

This has been a momentous season – one that has been made possible by the tremendous support by you, the fans. Without you, today – and all the other days in the season – simply would not have happened.

So we want to say a massive thank you to you all. You have our unreserved admiration and utmost respect as you continue to prove that Hearts fans are truly the best.

Please enjoy this, the last day of the season. Hopefully we will see many of you again in the summer as we all enjoy our European adventure. Have a great summer, and we look forward to your continued support next season as our journey continues.
