STATEMENT FROM THE FoH BOARD

We welcome the statement from the club today. Like everyone associated with Heart of Midlothian, we believe that recent events have been completely unacceptable and fall very far short of what this club should be achieving on the field.

The fans are angry, they are embarrassed, they are sceptical about the future, and they are demanding better. We have seen all of this in the communications we have had from supporters and indeed through the cancellations of some pledges. But these fans are also loyal and dedicated to Heart of Midlothian. Without fail, they have stepped up for this club. Now is undoubtedly the time for their performance to be emulated by the players and the coaches.

Finally, for everyone’s safety at this time, we would urge supporters not to congregate at Tynecastle on Saturday.
